1. What GatherHub is
GatherHub is a platform that organisers use to publish and run events. GatherHub is not the organiser of the events listed on it, unless an event says otherwise.
2. Organisers and events
Each organiser is responsible for its event: its content, schedule, venue, ticket conditions, refund policy, and how it uses attendee data for that event. Event-specific terms, refund policies and data notices published on an event page apply to that event in addition to these terms. Questions about an event should go to its organiser first.
3. Your account and registrations
- Give accurate details when you register, and keep them up to date.
- Register only yourself, or people who have agreed to you registering them.
- Keep your password and tickets private. A ticket QR code may admit whoever presents it.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Tickets and payments
Prices, fees and availability are set by the organiser and shown before you confirm. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. Refunds follow the event's refund policy; where the organiser has none, contact the organiser.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using GatherHub;
- post content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading or harmful;
- try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt the service;
- scrape, resell or copy tickets or attendee data without permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit, such as questions, photos and profile details. You allow GatherHub and the relevant organiser to use it to provide the service and run the event.
7. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep GatherHub available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is" and may sometimes be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, GatherHub is not liable for an organiser's event, for cancellations or changes made by organisers, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we will give notice on the platform. Continuing to use GatherHub after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Questions: [email protected].
